Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Customer Contact Centre, this position will be responsible for:- The Administration of the 311 CSR System;
- Supervising 311 support staff engaged in researching problems and developing solutions to all reported issues with the CSR system;
- Conducting ongoing training sessions for 311 operators and departmental staff on the Contact Centre, Mapping Module, and the CSR system;
- Ensuring data integrity is maintained between the Amanda property database and the CSR mapping module and resolves any conflicts;
- Coordinating the development of all reports for CSR users and management;
- Acting as liaison to departments to provide ongoing evaluation of service requests, knowledge base information, and setting well defined lists of resolution activities and customer service goals;
- Analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of programs relative to the department’s operations and assisting in the establishment and revision of program policies, procedures and review methods;
- Providings assistance to the 311 Call Centre Supervisors and the Manager of 311/211 Call Centre as required;
- Performing Occupational Health and Safety duties as outlined in the Corporate Health and Safety Program;
- Performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master Degree in Business, Computer Science, Social Science or related field or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a computerized environment with advanced software products utilizing relational databases;
- Must have a four (4) year University Degree in Business, Computer Science, Social Science or related field or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of 4 years experience working in a computerized environment with advanced software products utilizing relational databases;
- Must have a College Diploma in Business, Computer Science, Social Science or related field or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of 6 years experience working in a computerized environment with advanced software products utilizing relational databases;
- Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma plus one year of post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Social Science or related field or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of 10 years experience working in a computerized environment with advanced software products utilizing relational databases;
- Must have strong research and analytical skills;
- Must have the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects;
- Must possess strong problem solving skills;
- Must have demonstrated previous training experience;
- Must have superior organizational skills;
- Must be able to deal calmly and professionally with all staff;
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Should have knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations and knowledge of the hazards associated with the work;
- Will be required to complete and remain current as per the requirements of the Corporation’s Management Certificate Program;
- Progression through the Art of Supervision Program Certificate or a supervisory program of a similar nature is considered an asset;
- Previous experience with business procedure analysis and business process flowcharting will be considered an asset;
- Previous system administration experience with the CSR system will be considered a definite asset;
- Previous system administration experience with the Amanda system will be considered a definite asset.
