Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Sales & Marketing, this position will be responsible for:
- Coordinating sales functions for Transit Windsor fare media sales, retail pass sales for all sales outlets, and to assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with planning, organizing and implementing corporate marketing initiatives;
- Provides training and support to Customer Service Clerks;
- Reconciles and prepares bank deposits;
- Liaise with various corporate pass purchasers;
- Assist with the coordination, preparation and distribution of department print and advertising materials, including brochures, posters, and flyers;
- Backfills for Customer Service Clerks as necessary;
- Responsibilities include the research of information, copywriting, and editing of promotional materials using Desktop Publishing software, supplier contact, and distribution of marketing and promotional materials;
- Will perform Corporate Health and Safety duties;
- Will perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing/Public Relations or equivalent;
- Minimum of three years of experience in a marketing-related field; including print promotion, copywriting, media relations, and event coordination, will be considered an asset;
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent mathematical skills;
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers;
- Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite of products;
- Experience with desktop publishing software is considered an asset;
- Must maintain a valid Ontario Driver’s License; and
- Must be bondable.
